Ageing in hogsheads that previously held this full-bodied fortified wine has resulted in pronounced forest fruit qualities alongside The GlenAllachie’s heather honey DNA.
Specially selected for Europe, this Wood Collection bottling is presented at 48% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique character to shine through.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Orange zest, apricots and crystalised red berries, with notes of ginger, heather honey and rich dark chocolate.
Palate: Raspberry coulis, crystalised honeycomb and red berry ice cream, followed by cinnamon, candied cherries and mocha.
